Fishing boat at sea. Crossing to Scotland, we saw one other vessel, a huge cruise ship headed in the direction of Iceland

Anchored off Mingulay

Village overlooks the beach 1 km wide. A stream passes through the village & down the middle of the beach. I am speechless

Skuas. The Scots call them bonxies

Purple  ground beetle & wild thyme. Paul is great at finding such detail

Cleft. The sea is 600 feet below

                                                 Juvenile puffins

Grey seal poop. Gavin said like a dog

Grey seals following us down the beach

                                                   Eider, Paul thought

Grey seal sunning on the beach. In the evening there were 600 to 800 ashore for the night. One wonders how they find enough food.
