Tory Island

We docked at Tory and shortly after two more yachts tied up outboard of us.

At left a wooden cutter built in Scotland in 1896. The owner, 80, soloing around Ireland.

The red sloop, fiberglass hull, run by a Breton couple, on their way to the Caledonian Canal, then Norway, then the South Atlantic, then the Pacific. They plan to cruise for a few years.

Then Teddy, steel hull, etc.

The fisherman stays.

We had the sailors over for dinner. Afters was provided by the 1896 cutter.

                                                 Stephen Hyde was his name,
Whiskey was his family's game.                 (Nick)

When Stephen went to sleep, we boarded the Frenchies:

Leaving Tory, we headed for the east end. This was a calm day with little swell, allowing us to hug these cliffs.                   (Gavin)
